Defendants allegedly sold, for commissions, $450,000 in interests in a real estate joint venture on behalf of Titan Investment Partners Corp. and its president, Andrew Buie, by making material misrepresentations about the joint venture and by failing to conduct due diligence on the joint venture. Which turned out to be a fraud, with Buie misappropriating the entire offering proceeds.
