The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) will host a roundtable to give stakeholders an opportunity to discuss the OSC Consultation Paper 15-401 Proposed Framework for an OSC Whistleblower Program.
Partner Jordan A. Thomas will participate as a panelist in the roundtable, which will be chaired by the OSC Chair, Howard Wetston, and the discussion panels will be led by OSC Commissioners.
The panelists will address:
Effectiveness of whistleblower programs
Whistleblower protections (confidentiality and anti-retaliation measures)
The impact of an OSC Whistleblower Program on internal compliance systems
