NEW YORK (December 12, 2017) — [Jordan Thomas][prior firm][‘s] announced today that the Firm was shortlisted among the Financial Times (FT) Most Innovative North American Law Firms List as a “Standout” in the Rule of Law and Access to Justice category. FT weighed factors including, Firm’s originality, leadership, and impact for a total innovation score.
Particularly, Chair of the Firm’s Whistleblower Representation Practice, Jordan A. Thomas, was commended for helping establish the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Whistleblower Program as well as winning several landmark cases to expose the extent of global corporate wrongdoing. According to FT, tips have since come from every U.S. state and more than 100 countries and have resulted in over $1 billion in sanctions.
FT Innovative Lawyers launched in the U.S. and North America in 2010 and has covered innovation in the legal industry in 50 different countries from more than 400 law firms and 450 company in-house legal departments.
