Enforcement action brought in the Southern District of New York against defendant Drescher, a former manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ New York office, and Swedish traders. Drescher allegedly provided material, nonpublic information about the imminent acquisition of Pinkerton’s, Inc., a California based company, by Securitas AB. The information was also passed along by the direct recipients/tippees. The cited monetary sanction represents a combined amount.
