Jordan A. Thomas Named “Distinguished Leader” by New York Law Journal

Former SEC Official Continuously Honored for Leadership Achievements in the Whistleblower Field


Jordan A. Thomas has been named a “Distinguished Leader” by the New York Law Journal. Announced on June 18, 2019, the publication recognizes attorneys in leadership roles who achieved impressive results over the past year.

A leading SEC whistleblower attorney worldwide, Mr. Thomas was a principal architect of the SEC Whistleblower Program and established the nation’s first law practice exclusively focused on SEC whistleblowers.  Mr. Thomas has secured landmark SEC whistleblower awards for his clients including an $83 million award to a group of  whistleblowers for the successful $415 million enforcement action against Merrill Lynch, the largest award in the program’s history; the most substantial tax whistleblower recovery in New York history; representing the first officer of a public company; and, securing one of the program’s larger awards for an SEC whistleblower who provided information in connection with the Commission’s $267 million action against JP Morgan.

In addition to this distinguished honor, Mr. Thomas has been bestowed numerous industry honors.
