Defendant engaged in insider trading of United Healthcare Corporation options in 1995 for illicit gains of $274,199. He sold the options while he was in possession of material, non public information regarding United’s plan to acquire MetraHealth. Defendant also was criminally convicted and sentenced to 42 months in prison.
