Civil injunctive action against defendant Haab, Veros Partners (a RIA founded by Haab), and associates and related entities. They were/are alleged to have conducted two fraudulent farm loan offerings, in which they made Ponzi scheme payments to investors in other offerings and paid themselves hundreds of thousands of dollars in undisclosed fees. Some defendants have settled (and been enjoined and barred/suspended, among other relief), but the case was still pending as to several remaining defendants at the time of this writing/summary.
