Defendant R. Licht, an attorney, was counsel for Medco Containment Services, Inc. and Synetic, Inc., and defendant S. Weston was the president of Leisure Concepts, Inc. and R. Licht’s friend and brother-in-law. The SEC charged them with sharing insider information about these companies with each other and with the remaining co-defendants, who obtained illegal profits totaling more than $200,000 over a fourteen-month period.
